David Chavalarias
David Chavalarias is a researcher at the Paris IdF Complex System Institute and at the CREA, (Ecole Polytechnique, CNRS). He has a background in Mathematics and Computer sciences at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, with the Agregation de Mathematics and a PhD in Cognitive Sciences from the Ecole Polytechnique with a specialization in social systems modeling. His main topics are cultural evolution modeling, cognitive economics, scientometry and social dynamics reconstruction from large corpus analysis. David Chavalarias is also vice-president secretary of the Complex Systems Society and independent expert for the FP7 Program Future Emergent technologies FET Open.
